Watermelon Gumballs is the brainchild of five-year-old entrepreneur, Blaiden Thomas. After serving as operation’s manager of Gooey’s Pizza since birth, he became very annoyed with the current ice cream situation in our small town. After receiving a small loan from his father, his plans were set into motion. The name, Watermelon Gumballs, came to him instantaneously after being asked what he would call his business. What was supposed to be a simple ice cream shop quickly grew into, what is now known as, a dessert palace.  Mr. Thomas has been actively involved with the entire decision-making process, including choice of toys and other desserts. He has personally sampled every item in the store to ensure its quality. Blaiden has spent countless hours working on his project and has even brought in an air mattress to ensure he was able to rest when needed.

With the help of older sister, Alivia, and local artist, Candice McKinley, his idea for a mascot was brought to life. Leo, who is a sugar-cub who hails from a faraway galaxy known as the Candy Constellation, will be the face of Watermelon Gumballs, as Blaiden himself, is a quirky individual who values his privacy.

Although Watermelon Gumballs is Mr. Thomas’ true passion, he also understands the importance of education. After a very heated debate with his parents, he has decided to enroll into kindergarten full time.

Watermelon Gumballs’ decor features everything from ice cream chairs and Lego walls to a life-sized unicorn. The menu includes an array of desserts and toys. The menu includes every sweet dessert that he has ever tried during his entire tenure on Earth.  It includes everything from dipped ice cream and gelato, to cotton candy, snow cones and cupcakes.

When asked if there would be any healthy options available at Watermelon Gumballs, Blaiden sternly replied, “No. I don’t like that stuff.”
